Chris Duncan here and so grateful for you to check out this video. This is a video that’s going to accompany my book, which by the time you’re reading this is going to be a number one best seller. This video is about the five metrics.
The five metrics to grow any business.
Most business owners just like you don’t even know where they’re going wrong. They don’t even know the places that their business needs to grow. Now when I sit with a company and explode them, these are the five metrics that I use every single time and I want to dive deep with them straight away.
There’s a handout that you can get by just clicking on this link and going to the resource section, where you’ll find all the five metrics laid out and the example I’m about to go through laid out in pure detail. Here are the five key metrics that you must know.
- Number one is the amount of attention that you’re getting from your target audience every week, every month and every year. You must know.
- The next thing is you must know your lead’s percentage. What that means is that the amount of attention you’re getting, how much of them are turning into actual physical leads?
- The next percentage is your conversion percentage. How many of those leads turn into sales?
- The next thing you must know is your profit margin percentage.
- The last is the frequency or the number of times that someone buys.
Let me give you an example to illustrate how quickly someone’s business can absolutely explode if they understand where they’re going wrong and if they understand all five metrics and how they explode together, not one at a time.
Most people make the mistake on only focusing on two things.
- they focus on getting more attention
- they focus on their sales percentage
- but they miss the other three
I’m going to give you a very clear illustration of how just focusing on sales and attention versus focusing on all five, how that will change.
Now the whole book that you’ve got in your hands is completely designed to increase all five of these metrics. Let me explain.
Let’s just say, for example, that you get attention on average of 1,000 people every single week. Let’s just say that you’re leads percentage is 10%, so out of those 1,000, you end up with 100 leads.
Let’s just say your conversion percentage is 10%. Out of those 100 leads, you end up with … well, you’ve got it, 10 sales. Let’s just say that your profit margin is $100, that’s a good profit margin. You’re making $100 per sale. Let’s just say your frequency is one.
When we add this all up, in that week you’re making $1,000 a week. That’s quite good.
People go, “You know what, I’m making $1,000 a week I’m doing good. I don’t really know how to grow, Chris, I don’t know the problem. I know what it is Chris. I need to get more people’s attention and I need to make more sales.” Most people focus there, so let’s just say that you double both of those places.
Let’s just say that. You double the attention, it goes from 1,000 to 2,000. Then you double your sales percentage, so instead of 10%, it goes to 20%. Let’s look how that looks. You end up getting attention of 2,000 people.
Now your leads percentage is still the same, so you still end up with 200 leads. Your sales percentage has doubled to 20%, so you get it. That results in 40 sales. Your profit is still the same, it’s still $100 and the frequency is still one.
Now increasing both of those, you’ve now got $4,000 a week.
So you’ve had a dramatic shift, a dramatic shift, four times in your business. People then go, “Yes.” That’s perfect, you should do that, but then they get stuck because they don’t know the other three. I’m going to show you how it works if you double every single one. That is what this book is going to do for you.
Let’s say you double all of them. The attention still goes to 2,000, your leads percentage doubles so it’s now 20%. What this means is instead of only having 200, now you have 400 leads come through.
Let’s say your sales percentage is still doubled, so now it’s still 20%. What that means is you end up with 80 leads. Let’s say you double your profit, which is very easy to do. Your profit percentage doubles, so that goes to $200 and your frequency doubles, so it goes to 2
So everything is doubled.
Look, I’d be absolutely surprised if you follow everything that I share with you in this book and you don’t at least double. Now if you’re good at math, you’ll realize that this actually results in a $36,000 week. We start off with $1,000, by doubling all 5, we end up with $36,000, just doubling what most people look at is sales and attention, they only end up with $4,000.
From your start if you double each, it’s a 36X where you’re at or if you just do sales and attention this is a 9X on that, 9 times what it is that you started with. These are the five metrics. Here’s my question for you.
Which area do you need the most work on?
Which area? Let’s focus on that. What you’ll find in this book is everything you need to at least double every single one of these metrics. I hope you thoroughly enjoy the book.
